Everybody is carrying something they're trying to get better at, and almost nobody mentions it. The friend who seems to have it handled. The person ahead of you in line. The one you'd never guess. You don't get to see any of it, so you end up assuming you're the only one still in the middle of something.

WHAT THIS IS

WIP Supply makes clothes for people who are still working on something. Which is everyone, most of the time.

It started as something I made for my siblings — I wanted them to have something that said what I kept failing to say well out loud. Turned out that isn't a sibling thing.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

That you don't have to be finished to be worth something.

That failing is what learning looks like while it's happening, not proof you shouldn't have tried.

That progress is slow and almost entirely invisible from the inside — which is exactly why it helps to be reminded by something you put on in the morning.

We're not selling a better version of you. There's plenty of that already.

WHAT WE'RE AFTER

Most clothes let you signal that you've arrived somewhere. We'd like these to do the opposite — to be a small, public way of saying you haven't, and that you're fine with it.

If enough people wear that openly — including the ones everybody else looks up to — it gets easier for the rest of us to admit the same thing.

That's the whole goal. Fewer people thinking they're the only one.
